The women's Genia Milkweed parka utilizes the warmth derived from a special plant-based insulation fibre made by Quebec's Monark Cavolie™. This unique eco-friendly fibre is sourced from milkweed plants and holds an immense amount of thermal capacity when used as winter coat insulation. The milkweed edition of the Genia retains a temperature rating recommending its use in temperatures as low as -25°C. On top of its special insulation, the parka has a stylish semi-slim fit, with a looser cut around the hips. Its generous mid-thigh length and darker minimalist shell design help the Genia leave an impression of refined winter warmth.

Cambridge Shell | Storm Cuffs
Quartz Co. designed the milkweed insulated Genia with a shell made from 100% polyester Cambridge, which confers a polished looked. This shell construction is also highly wind-resistant, allows for moisture evacuation, and is treated with a water-repellent finish from C6 Technology. C6 Technology makes one of the eco-friendliest DWR finishes in the industry, and were sought out by Quartz Co. to be used as an alternative to environmentally harmful water-repellent finishes. The hood is insulated, adjustable, and fully detachable, giving the parka another wearing style. The Genia comes with fitted storm cuffs to keep the cold out of your sleeves along with a drawcord adjustable hem.
